SWOCC does scientific research in the field of commercial communication. Since 2002 I've illustrated the covers of their publications. With abstract titles like Research in the Basics of Positive Word of Mouth, The Proces of rebranding, or Fear Appeal in Social Marketing it's always a challenge to find the best approach.

As one of the biggest Dutch companies in the field of construction, mobility, energy and communications provision, VolkerWessels is responsible for a big part of the Dutch infrastructure. VolkerWessels has subdivisions in building and real estate, infratechnics, telecommunication, road construction and civil engineering. I made a different set of illustrations for each subdivision, to be used on the company's intranet.

What makes a car a car, questions like that keep me busy when I walk the street. Basically it's 4 wheels, a volume shape and a lot of noise. Don't know where this project is going, but it's fun to keep working on it.

I illustrated these hands for the Rabobank. They were printed and assembled in a pallet to promote the fact that the internal employment agency of the Rabobank offers specialized people in all directions.
